If you’re serious about growing your business and getting more customers, you’ve probably considered using Facebook and Google ads to promote your company and connect with your target audience. But how do you actually go about creating an ad that will get noticed? And what kind of results can you expect from the two different platforms? Here are some tips on how to use Facebook ads effectively, along with some helpful tips for Google Ads campaigns, too. Before you start putting money into Facebook ads, it’s important to understand that there are different ad formats. The most commonly used ones are link ads, photo/video carousel ads, and sponsored stories. For most users, link ads (also known as destination-based ads) are likely to be worth trying first because they’re easy to set up and give people an immediate call to action; however, they do require a bit of planning before you get started—you’ll need some sort of landing page or conversion goal in place. Because of that, it’s wise to start with other ad formats (like photo/video carousel ads) while setting up your landing page on your website at the same time.
